To promote the philosophy of integration/inclusion in the communities we serve.

To enhance professional development of Resource Teachers in Ontario.

To provide leadership to its members in addressing the issues of
training, professionalism and practical applications of the philosophy
of integration/inclusion.

The Network will bring together Resource Teachers from across the province as a recognized formal group.

The Network will provide a forum where issues related to integration/inclusion can be disclosed.

The Network will produce a newsletter which will be published four times a year.

The Network will organize an annual conference in locations throughout the province of Ontario.

The Network will assist in organizing meetings at a regional level
in each of the four regions to disseminate information relevant to each
specific region.

The Network, in co-operation with the Ministry of Community and
Social Services, will work to establish standardization of training for
Resource Teachers.
